Do Not Miss Golden Week for Your Skin Care!

Every woman is falling under spell every month. It sounds like strange to all readers here, but we call period(menstruation) 'Magic Day' or 'That Day' in Korea.

Before telling why you should grab a golden week after period we should know about function of female hormone for skin condition.

1. Estrogen (Good)

It helps to discharge unnecessary sebum and promote producing collagen and elastin which make skin moisturized and firmed.

2. Progesterone (Bad)

It promotes sebum and melanin, makes acne or skin trouble, even freckles and hyper pigmentation.

0~7 days

When you start period, you can see minimum level of Estrogen. During that period, your skin condition will be worst. Very sensitive, dull and dry.

You should maximize moisturizing and soothing, minimize stimulation or irritation, Do not touch irritated skin or perform extraction by yourself.

7~14 days (GOLDEN WEEK after period)

After done period, your level of Estrogen will be maximized. During this period, your skin absorbs nutrition and moisture the most, so your skin condition will be best of the month.

14~21 days

You can see Estrogen is decreased and Progesterone is increased. Your skin will be dull and make freckles or hyper pigmentation easily, so you should apply sunscreen very well more than normal days.

21~28 days

The highest level of Progesterone. It means the worst skin condition of the month. Do not use oily product.

14 ~ 21 days
